Staying with the theme of noisy exhaust pipes, why the hell are so many loud Harleys allowed on our roads? My power board is loud and fast (for a glorified skateboard), but it’s illegal on the road. Fair enough. But why should something as slow, heavy, poor-handling and noisy as a Harley with open exhaust pipes be fine? They’re not. Proper motorbikes aren’t allowed to be loud, but two-wheeled tractors are? Some of them are shiny enough to look 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘢 cool, but the majority of their riders seem to think that the louder the pipes, the better the bike. Which is fine with the law. And stupid.
